Infrastructure Readiness Dashboard – NEOM, Saudi Arabia
Role: Lead Designer & Concept Creator
Scope: Problem Framing, Visual Design, Comparative Dashboard UX, Data Mapping
Overview: NEOM, Saudi Arabia’s ambitious mega-city initiative, commissioned designs for an interactive report to visualise the infrastructure readiness of multiple large-scale construction projects. With a vague brief and undefined structure, I led the breakdown of complex requirements into a clear, usable format for senior stakeholders.
The solution included two custom dashboard screens:
A comparative spider graph visualising each project’s performance across key infrastructure pillars: Energy, Water, Transport, Communications, Security, Lighting & Signage
A RAG scoring panel with quick-glance indicators for each pillar and a dot-based breakdown of individual project status
A map view of Saudi Arabia, with project locations overlaid and colour-coded infrastructure scores for regional context
Users can filter by individual project, view all projects side by side, or directly compare any two. The designs created a consistent, intuitive way to monitor infrastructure maturity across NEOM's vast pipeline.
Outcome: The designs were very well received and sold as static reporting page templates.
