Custom SaaS SGA Management Tool - Global Telecoms

Role: Lead Designer & Product Strategist

Scope: Product Creation, User Research, Wireframes, Prototyping, High-Fidelity UI, Data Visualisation Design

Overview: A custom SaaS platform designed for a global telecoms company to track and manage Selling, General & Administrative (SGA) costs across divisions, regions, and business units.

The platform enables finance and operations teams to:

  • View high-level SGA summaries (YTD, YoY, by country, function, and division)

  • Analyse cost drivers and trends with region and function-specific breakdowns

  • Switch between currencies and filter by region, division, or cost category

  • Dive into deep analytics, including cost waterfalls, headcount vs cost ratios, and SGA vs revenue benchmarking

Custom dashboards help each team view their slice of the business, with a consistent interface that brings clarity to complex, multi-layered data.

Outcome: Led the product design from the earliest concept stage - working closely with end users and key stakeholders to prototype a flexible, high-clarity tool that could break down complex cost data into actionable insights. The prototype was later purchased and built into full production and is now used across the organisation.
